Our focus this year for The Girls Take Granby is to push our local politicians to ratify the Equal Rights Act here in Virginia. It is General Assembly time! At this time, there is one more state needed to fulfill the 38 states needed to moved with making the ERA an amendment. We have the power to make history here in Virginia! 

We are also focusing on our believeH.E.R.S. initiative. We want it to be known that Hampton Roads in a safe space for ALL to come forward. We want to hear your stories. We want to help you heal. We want to honor your strength!

Lastly, we will be focusing on Title IX awareness amongst college students. We live in a heavily populated college areas and we want people to feel safe sending their children to any of our wonderful local institutions. That is why we chose to make Title IX a focus at this year's march.
